Q: Why run as an Independent instead of with a major party? 

A: Because Washington D.C. is currently designed to produce gridlock, not results. When a candidate caucuses with a party, they owe their first vote to the party leadership, not the voters of WA-06. Brian believes that a "Caucus of Independents" is the only way to break the partisan fever. By being unbought and unbossed, Brian can negotiate purely for the interests of our district.

Q: Who is funding this campaign? 

A: We are. We have zero corporate PAC money. While our opponents are fueled by high-dollar donors and party machines, Brian is running a grassroots operation. This ensures that when he gets to Congress, his only "special interest" is the citizen he represents.

Veterans & Service

Q: What was Brian’s role in the military? 

A: Brian served for 16 years as a Field Medic. He has seen the best and worst of our systems first-hand, including multiple deployments during OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom). His service didn't end with a uniform; it evolved into a commitment to fixing the broken institutions he witnessed from the inside.

Q: There have been questions about Brian’s medical discharge. What is the story? 

A: (Block) Brian’s discharge is a matter of record, marking the end of a long and honorable 16-year career of service to this nation. (Bridge) What’s more important than the why is the how it informed his platform: Brian is running because he knows our healthcare system—for both veterans and civilians—is failing. He is dedicated to securing funding for county hospitals so that no one in WA-06 has to choose between their health and their home.

Policy & The District

Q: Where does Brian stand on the Constitutional Convention? 

A: Firmly against. At a time of extreme radicalization, Brian does not trust the current government to rewrite or "amend" our fundamental rights. He believes we need to protect the Constitution we have, not open it up to partisan surgery.

Q: How will an Independent actually get anything done in Congress? 

A: Legislation today is "all or nothing" because of party lines. As an Independent, Brian becomes a crucial "swing" factor. Both parties will have to bring sensible, fact-based legislation to the table to earn his vote. That is how we return to the era of "Logos" (logic) in government.

Q: What is Brian’s plan for the rising cost of living? 

A: Partisanship has made the economy a game of winners and losers. Brian’s focus is on Equality Under the Law. He supports ending Civil Forfeiture and Qualified Immunity—two "extra-legal" theories that allow the government to take agency away from citizens. By restoring legal and economic agency to the individual, we rebuild the middle class.
